Unknown English Silverplate Fish Set 12 Pc Hollow Handle Forks & Knives 1880

Description

We are pleased to offer a 12 piece set of handsome silverplated fish forks and knives from England.  The design is a beaded and reeded handles.  We don’t know who the maker is but based on the date mark on each, these date to 1880.  The blades, tines and shoulders are engraved;  a beautiful set!
Condition:
Very good – 1 handle has cut marks on it (see photos – somebody tried to test them to see if they were sterling), otherwise no silver wear or
loss, heel wear or shadows.  There are no monograms and the pattern is crisp and well defined.  Classically English!
Size:
Knives are 8 1/2″ long, forks 7 1/8″.
