Description
This listing is for an antique 1919 English Sterling Silver Salter Cellar with a cobalt blue glass insert and salt spoon. The salt cellar has handles on either side and measures 2 3/4″ tall to the top of the handles and 3 3/4″ across at the handles. The center part measures 2 1/4″ across.
This was made by A.J. Bailey of Birmingham, England. It is marked with their hallmark as well as the date mark for 1919 and the city mark for Birmingham. The spoon is similarly marked except with the date mark for 1918.
This is in wonderful estate condition with no monograms. The glass is also in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks.
